In 2013, John and Josh made the shocking discovery that James had never watched The Godfather. After forcing him to sit and watch all three parts in quick succession, James was overcome with admiration and decided that he was to leave the world of theatre to become a real life sicilian gangster.

Turning their attention to film genres, The Sleeping Trees join forces with Brighton fusion outfit, The Physics House Band, to create a live gangster film complete with an unrelenting live score. The show follows the Banuchi brothers, as Ronnie and Tommy try to help their youngest brother Johnny fulfill his dream of becoming king of the mob world. Unfortunately a small verbal misunderstanding leads to Johnny landing the brothers in far more toruble than they bargained for, as the Trees and the Physics bring to life a world of crime and corruption in a manner unlike anything you have ever seen before.
